Leaders Think

“The tragedy of modern man is not that he knows less and less about the meaning of his own life, but that it bothers him less and less.” Václav Havel
“Business and professional people get on a fast track in pursuit of an elusive vision of success without questioning whether they are selling themselves too cheaply by investing their precious years of life in something that, even if attained, will never satisfy.” Ken Boa
Many people spend more time thinking about their next vacation than they do about their purpose in life.
Leaders take time to think beyond the moment and fight not to succumb to the tyranny of the urgent. They consider the long term, see the big picture, and keep the end in mind. Leaders reflect and seek solitude in order to hear from the Lord. What we think about will direct our actions and attitudes influencing what we accomplish. Are you taking time to reflect?
What occupies your mind most of the time? Be proactive.
“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7
“More than that, I consider all things in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus, for whom I suffered the loss of all things and count them but rubbish in order to gain Christ.” Philippians 3:8
